NICOLE’S SHOWER

Welcome to our first Blog! We have never blogged before, but decided that we wanted a way to better connect with you our customers by sharing a little bit more of ourselves and who we are than is possible on a conventional website.

I will start our first entry to our Blog with Nicole’s bridal shower. We are scheduled to photograph Nicole and Ben’s wedding on June 7 of this year. Now I have attended many bridal showers since Russell is the youngest of 9 which in and of itself has produced many nieces and nephews of marriageable age. But this is the first time I have ever been invited to attend a bridal shower of someone we have never met before they hired us to photograph their wedding. I felt quite honored to be asked as both Russell and I really did like this couple from the first time we met them. I just know Nicole will make a lovely bride !

Here she is when she first walked into the house on the pretense of picking up a friend. SURPRISE!!

The cake was really good . . . . so was the buffet!

The room was full of laughter and love . . . . with many of her friends and family attending.

Just two of the many great gifts Nicole received. I liked these for their visual impact in the photographs, but she also received kitchen knives, towels, dishes, and other gifts too numerous to mention including two coffee makers (since I’ve gone through several myself, I can see the benefit of having two!).

It’s tradition to make a “hat” out of the ribbons from the bridal shower gifts.
