Troy’s Senior Session

Posted in HS Seniors on June 28, 2008 by steadmanphotography

Troy is our first senior boy graduating with the Plainville High School Class of 2009!  We have so much fun photographing seniors like Troy.  Take a look, and don’t be shy about posting a comment if you have one!

We understand Troy is quite the hockey player!

This pose was Troy’s idea!  We love this picture so thanks Troy.

Alana’s Senior Session with “Honey Bear”

We had a delightful senior session the other day with our first senior girl of the season — Alana from Plainville High School.  Actually, Alana just graduated from PHS and plans to go to college at Villanova  in Pennsylvania.

Here are just a few of the photos from Alana’s session including some from a set we took with her and her favorite pet “Honey Bear” (strange name for a tortoise!):

Ben and Nicole’s Wedding

Ben and Nicole were married on June 7th at the Full Gospel Church in Manchester.  Their reception was at Georgina’s Restaurant in Bolton which incidentally has wonderful food (check them out if you are looking for a place to hold your wedding, or just want to go out for a great meal).

Here are some of our favorite photos from Ben and Nicole’s wedding!

This one is right before Nicole met her father to walk down the aisle and join her beloved Ben.

What a great couple!  They really were wonderful to work with.  To see more photos, check out Nicole’s Shower and Ben and Nicole’s Engagement Session also on our blog.

Cape Hatteras Vacation

Russell and I went to a fabulous vacation spot the end of May — Cape Hatteras in North Carolina also known as the Outer Banks.  We just loved it there and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for vacation ideas.  We stayed in Avon which is one of the more remote towns on the island, but certainly not the remotest.  It had plenty of shopping and good restaurants without being too touristy.  The beaches weren’t crowded, but they were never totally without people either.  One thing that we appreciated was how dog friendly the island was.  We brought Cody to our dog-friendly cottage, and there were always a few others who brought their dogs on the beach (and yes, the beaches were very clean).  Below are a few photos from our trip.

Alas, we are on our way home, back over the bridge that brought us to our island!
